Feature film Xeco in pre-production

At the end of 2022 Springfilm was given the green light by the Netherlands Film Fund, receiving pre-production funding and a screenplay grant. The screenplay is by Jacco Groen, with script coaches Marjolein Beumer, Sjef Verbraaken and Jules Noyons.

The film tells the story of a boy who finds a capsule with a strange egg inside it. Convinced that the capsule came from space, twelve-year-old Patrick will stop at nothing to become famous with this alien.
