Rudi Bakker, to the Bitter End

On Saturday 13 May 2000 an enormous explosion tore through the fireworks depot of the company SE Fireworks in Enschede. Twenty-two people died and an entire neighbourhood was destroyed.
In this documentary director Roy Dames follows SE Fireworks’ former director, Rudi Bakker, through the trial that followed in 2001 and 2002. Rudi looks back and is clear about his own responsibility for the disaster.
