I Defend Dead Women

In production, together with Project1961, about a Turkish lawyer who fights for the rights of murdered women in Turkey. Over the past sixteen years femicide in Turkey has risen from 90 cases a year to almost 500. The film paints a disturbing picture of the position of women in Turkey, and offers a look inside the country’s justice system and police force.
